I love my job this summer. I am working for the Carmelite Center for Spirituality. One of my tasks is restoring the grotto. The center offers affordable accommodations for personal spiritual retreat.

You’ll have that place shaped up in no time. What a lovely, peaceful place for a retreat community. I’m surprised our church hasn’t done more things out there. So glad you found a job for the summer and support for your return to Haiti.
Grottos have been spiritual havens since the earliest days of the church. Once found in desert caves, now we have craftsmen build them in Tennessee! Good job!
Thank you. You and Monica need to come visit the center. It is beautiful. Come for a picnic or come for a night. We have two hermitages for rent. Very secluded. Currently the cost for two is only $65 a night.
